Our history

Founded in 1963 by the Milot family, Le Dauphin Hotel and Suites Drummondville saw its operations passed down over the years from father to son (and, more recently, from father to daughter) as a family-owned business.

In 1994, the property entered a period of dramatic expansion beginning with the renovation of the entire hotel façade. This expansion resulted in the addition of more than 100 seats to Le Globe-Trotter dining room and of a multi-function meeting and banquet room with a capacity of up to 500 people.

Additional renovations were undertaken in 2000, including the addition of six multifunctional, extended-stay suites that can be used either for family accommodations or for meeting space as required. A new windowed and well-appointed meeting room that can be subdivided into three smaller rooms was also added to supplement our nearly two dozen existing meeting spaces.

To further enhance our range of services, we also added a fully equipped health centre with an indoor swimming pool and attached hot tub and a fitness room.

Also in the year 2000, Le Dauphin Hotel Drummondville was fittingly renamed Le Dauphin Hotel and Suites Drummondville to reflect its expansion from 109 rooms to 120 rooms and suites. Then, in January 2006, the hotel’s lobby and bar were completely redesigned and rebuilt to accommodate you even better. This resulted in the doubling of the capacity of the Menus Plaisirs bistro bar and addition of another magnificent room suitable for any occasion.

In 2009, 28 rooms were renovated to give them a more urban look and feel, adding laminate floors, 37" LCD televisions, oversize showers and other modern touches. White duvets were also placed in all 120 rooms for superior comfort.

We look forward to seeing you at Le Dauphin Hotel and Suites Drummondville: Quebec at its best!
